Biberach's senior afternoon: honors and entertainment for the 70+ generation!

Last Sunday, around 180 citizens flocked to the festival hall in Biberach for over 70 years, where the community's senior afternoon took place. Mayor Jonas Breig opened the event, which was organized by the DRK Ortsverein Biberach, and thanked the almost 40 helpers from various organizations for their tireless efforts. The Musikverein Prinzbach-Schönberg provided musical entertainment, while coffee and cake were served for the physical well-being of the seniors.

A special highlight of the afternoon was the honor of the oldest participants: 97-year-old Gertrud Hug and 92-year-old Stefan Echle were celebrated by Breig and DRK chairman Monika Reinbold. The event also offered informative insights into current topics, including the house emergency call system. The afternoon was modest with entertaining dances from the children's people's dance group and delicious dishes, accompanied by the melody "Say thanks", played by Werner Eckermann.
