Art against darkness: How Kai Pleschke gives hope with painting

The 26-year-old Kai Pleschke turns his serious experiences with depression into art! During a five -month stay in the clinic, he painted almost 400 pictures, starting with dark tones that were always more colorful in the course of his therapy. "I used three colors at the beginning, but the better I was, the more colors were added," says Pleschke. Today, almost a year after his treatment, he opens his second exhibition at Café Luv in Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt, a place that symbolizes hope and new beginning.
