Schützenfest donation: Biberacher brewery supports local initiatives

Engagement for social projects - Berg brewery supports Biberacher Community

The Berg brewery from Ehingen not only invests in the production of the traditional beer for the Biberacher Schützenfest, but also relies on social responsibility in the community. For some years now, part of the proceeds from the sale of the beer in the form of donations have been attributed for charitable purposes, which is known as "Schützenpfennig".

Lebenshilfe benefits from the support

The Schützendirection Foundation decides on the distribution of the donations, whereby Lebenshilfe Biberach is one of the main beneficiaries. The organization offers people with disabilities living opportunities and rely on financial support in order to maintain their diverse activities. The chairman Siegfried Pfleghar is pleased about the generous donation of 3000 euros, which is used for a sun sail on the roof terrace of the house to offer residents more comfort.

pony friends receive financial help

In addition to Lebenshilfe, the Ponyfreunde Biberach are also financially supported. The club takes care of the shooting ponies all year round, which are presented during the margins. The donation of 2000 euros is to be used to buy a new trailer in which four ponies can be transported. This investment enables pony friends to transport their animals safely and comfortably and to take part in events.
