Exciting competitions at the Württemberg Championships of the DLRG in Geislingen

The Württemberg championships of the DLRG took place in Geislingen on the Steige last weekend, in which the competition swimmers of the DLRG Ertingen were able to demonstrate their skills. It was the second and most important competition of the year in which the swimmers could compete with the best rescue athletes from all over Württemberg.

On Saturday, the team competitions were on the program, in which 7 teams of Ertingen started. Impressive achievements were performed in the different age groups that led to excellent results. The narrow third place in the girls of the AK15/16 and the second place in the boys of the same age group was particularly gratifying. Even the youngest participants, the girls of the AK12, were able to convince with their seventh place and had a lot of fun.

On Sunday was the day of the individual swimmer, in which 8 starters of the DLRG Ertingen started. With placements in the upper half, including a fifth place from Sabine Botwina and a seventh place from Paula Schlegel, the swimmers showed their individual skills and provided further impressive performance.

These great successes would not have been possible without the commitment and management of Niklas Rückgün and Rebecca Rieber, who spurred the group at top performance.

The Württemberg Championships of the DLRG in Geislingen were a complete success and show the high sporting level and the team spirit of the DLRG Ertingen. We congratulate all participants on their services and look forward to further exciting competitions in the future.
