On Tuesday afternoon, October 22, 2024, a senior citizen in Bielefeld-Brackwede was the victim of a brazen trick fraud. An unknown man rang on her door on Dresdener Straße and pretended to be a craftsman who had to make repairs on the bathtub. While the senior citizen was concerned with the wrong craftsman, an accomplice managed to get into the apartment unnoticed and steal cash from the living room. When the woman noticed the absence of the money, she immediately alerted the police.

The alleged craftsman is described as a slim man between 35 and 45 years, about 170 to 180 cm with short -haired, dark blond hair and a thin beige jacket over a multi -colored checkered shirt.
