Robbery attack in Bielefeld: Witnesses wanted for smartphone theft!

In the early Saturday morning, October 26, 2024, a 56-year-old Bielefeld was victim of a brutal robbery in the city center. The man was on his way to Jahnplatz around 5:00 a.m. when a stranger attacked him between the Zimmerstrasse and Stresemannstrasse from behind and pushed him to the ground. As he knelt on the ground, five men surrounded him who robbed him of his black Huawei smartphone, a keychain and glasses.

After the incident, the alcoholized victim immediately looked for help and filed a complaint with the police on Kesselbrink. The Bielefeld police have now started a witness search and asks for clues.
