MINT formation in the focus

This initiative is involved in the variety of programs that aim to promote the MINT formation (mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology). MINT formation is crucial for the early enthusiasm of children for technical and scientific topics. Psychologists and educators emphasize the importance of early childhood education in these areas as the basis for the later development of social and cognitive skills.

With providers such as make-block and fishing technology Education, companies are also available to promote playful learning with technology in the MINT sector. In Germany, programs such as the house of small researchers and competitions such as "Jugend research" support the MINT formation in a variety of ways. Investments between the federal and state governments in the training of specialists in these subjects are also crucial to ensure the next generation innovative strength.

parents and schools as responsibility

While schools can make MINT subjects practical through experiments, projects and excursions, parents also play an important role. You should promote your children's curiosity and reduce fears or prejudices against technical topics. All the more, since MINT education is not only important for the personal development of the children, but also for the economic future of a country.

A visit to the SCITEC laboratory in Landau could be a step in the right direction for many families to sustainably support the MINT enthusiasm for the next generations. The commitment of institutions such as RPTU and the promotion of MINT initiatives are essential to win the next specialists for the technical and scientific field.
