In a dramatic use, the Technical Aid Agency (THW) in Birkenfeld has blown up eight damaged breathing batches in a controlled manner. The Birkenfeld district had requested the Susprenn specialist group after two valves of the bottles had defects. The risk that the bottles could escape explosively was just too high!

In order to make the dangerous containers harmless, extensive safety precautions were taken on site. This included the ditch of a two -meter -deep hole in which the bottles were placed. With the help of cutting loads, the bottles were brought to the explosion after the pit was covered with wood and complained with ten tons of sand. During the entire process there was a safety radius of 150 meters to protect residents from possible injuries and damage caused by the high -technological "floors".
