In a nightly check on April 23, 2025, the federal police caught a 21-year-old Afghan with 99 grams of hashish in his belly pocket. The drugs were immediately confiscated and the police informed the crime service service about the incident.

At the order of the Mainz public prosecutor's office, the man's apartment was then searched, but without additional drug finds. The young man is now facing criminal proceedings according to the Consumer Cannabis Act.
