80-year-old missing: tragic end for a large-scale search

A tragic turn in addicts: The 80-year-old woman missing since Friday evening was found dead on Monday afternoon in a forest on the site of the LVR clinic. A doctor could only find death. The old lady had left a retirement home in Johannisstrasse and has been unobstructible since then.

Despite the intensive search, which was supported by drones and man trailer dogs, the efforts at the weekend were unsuccessful. The police were given numerous indications that the missing person in Kempen or in the Dülken city park had been sighted, but all traces of trace led to nothing. On Monday, around 120 emergency services from the riot police systematically searched the clinic site. The site was cordoned off and examined by the criminal police. At the moment there is no evidence of a violent crime, but the investigation continues.
