90-year-old stolen: scissor grinder opened the door to wallet!

Schifferstadt, Deutschland - on Tuesday evening, April 29, 2025, a 90-year-old man in Schifferstadt was the victim of a brazen theft. The pensioner reported to the police that his wallet was stolen at around 5:15 p.m. after an unknown perpetrator rang his door as a "scissor grinder". The incident occurred between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. when the man rejected the work and the alleged thief disappeared.

Only later did the 90-year-old noticed the loss of his wallet, in which there were also 240 euros in cash. The perpetrator is described as about 180 cm tall, with long, dark and shaggy hair, dressed in a dark jacket and dark trousers.
