Attention, parents! Police warn of children's agents in Mülheim-Kärlich
In the past few days, disturbing reports about "children's speakers" have appeared in the Mülheim-Kärlich area on social networks. The Koblenz police inform that a boy is said to have been addressed by a driver on his way home. Based on these reports, both the Andernach and the Koblenz criminal police have started the investigation and take all the clues seriously. Nevertheless, no danger for children has been found.
The police appeal to parents and relatives to contact the next police station immediately in such incidents. Although the reports are immediately spread and alarming, the police emphasize that attacks on children are extremely rare. Some important rules of conduct are also recommended for the safety of children: keep their distance from strangers and cars, never get into unknown vehicles, do not talk to strangers and stay in groups if possible. Children should also know the emergency number of the police "110".
