Heek, Deutschland - The police in Borken urgently warns of pickpockets, which are particularly active in department stores and heavily frequented places. On May 17, 2025, between 1:00 p.m. and 1:10 p.m., there were again incidents in which the criminals spied on their victims under the guise of crowds in the shop. Only a few seconds are sufficient, often supported by accomplices to steal valuables unnoticed.

Particularly alarming: The thieves are targeted in consumer markets without video surveillance. The police therefore advise vigilance and recommend keeping an eye on personal objects so as not to become the victim of these perfidious stitches.
