Alcohol at the wheel: 52-year-old causes accident in Westheim!

On Wednesday evening at around 8:00 p.m. there was a spectacular accident in Westheim (Palatinate): a 52-year-old driver from Donnersbergkreis crashed into a road narrowing. The blown damage? A total of 5000 euros! But the car was unusable after the crash.

The police quickly moved on and immediately found a suspicious smell of alcohol. A breath alcohol test revealed a value of 0.65 per thousand! However, the driver remained stubborn and claimed that he only consumed his drink after the accident. He blame the dazzling sun. But the consequences for the night drink were not long in coming: two blood samples were taken and criminal proceedings were followed immediately. The legal consequences are likely to be serious for the person who caused the accident!
