Alcoholized drivers in Zweibrücken: the police pull the emergency brake!

On Tuesday, April 15, 2025, the Zweibrücken police inspection made shocking finds in traffic controls in the city area! Three drivers were influenced by alcohol or drugs- an alarming sign of traffic safety.

At 3:45 p.m., a 57-year-old Dacia driver was pulled out of circulation in Jakob-Leyser-Straße with 1.04 per thousand. Almost an hour later, at 4:50 p.m., a 23-year-old Honda Civic driver in Europe avoided avenue after showing drug-typical abnormalities and a preliminary test was positive on narcotics. Last but not least, the law enforcement officers found a 49-year-old driver of a Toyota RAV 4 at 6:50 p.m., who was also not traveling with 0.92 per thousand.

All three drivers had to leave their vehicles and a blood sample was taken from the drug driver, investigations were initiated against the alcoholic road users. Another indication of the urgent need to behave responsibly in road traffic!
