Local residents save Detmolder buildings in front of Flammeninferno!

On Saturday evening at 8:50 p.m., the Detmold fire brigade was alerted when a hedge fire threatened to attack an adjacent building. However, residents who acted quickly grabbed and were able to largely contain the flames until the fire brigade arrived with water.

Thanks to the courageous intervention of the residents, a dangerous spread of the fire could be prevented. After only 30 minutes, the fire brigade was over, and luckily there were no injured people. Another example of civil courage in need!
