Excitement in Güstrow: attempted robbery on woman - helper wanted!

Güstrow, Deutschland - in Güstrow on April 15, 2025 at 10:20 p.m. there was a dramatic attempted robbery on a 61-year-old woman. The perpetrators, a previously unknown man, placed the woman at the level crossing in Neue Straße/Eisenbahnstrasse, asked for cash and attacked her after refusing. In a courageous moment, two male helpers came from a nearby car parked and stopped the attacker. The injured party fled the fear, only later she filed a complaint with the police.

The police are urgently looking for witnesses, especially the helpers who have stopped the attack. The alleged perpetrator is about 18 to 20 years old, about 1.80 meters tall, slim with an elongated face and short, dark blonde hair. He was dressed dark and spoke German -free German. The driver of the car from which the helpers came is also searched for and is said to be about 35 years old with dark hair and beard. The investigation is carried out by the Güstrow criminal police.
