On Wednesday evening, May 7th, around 6:50 p.m. for a 36-year-old driver in Paderborn with a VW station wagon was dramatically crooked. The driver wanted to drive from a parking lot to Driburger Strasse, noticed an approaching vehicle and instinctively picked up braking. But instead of pressing the pedal, he pressed the gas! The chaos took its course: the Bulli skidded, raced on the sidewalk against the direction of travel and only crashed against a distribution box and then against a street lamp.
