Bakery raid in Lemgo: perpetrator fled with a firearm and knife!

In the early Thursday morning, May 22, 2025, there was a shocking robbery on the bakery of a Rewe supermarket in Lemgoer Strasse. Two masked perpetrators, armed with a firearm and a knife, attacked the 64-year-old employee around 5 a.m. Under threats, they demanded money from the cash register that the frightened woman gave them.

After the crime, the robbers blocked the bakery employee in an office and fled with the prey towards the main street. The woman suffered minor injuries in the attack and was taken to the clinic as a precaution. The perpetrators are described as about 1.75 to 1.80 meters tall and between 20 and 30 years old.
