Schnelsen, Hamburg, Deutschland - Investigations against fraudsters! On May 9, 2025, the Pinneberg criminal inspection with the support of the Hamburg Police, provided an apartment in the Schnelsen district. Two suspects aged 54 and 26 are suspected of having cheated companies in the Pinneberg area by fake invoices. Numerous companies had already filed a criminal complaint after illegally open letters manipulated the IBAN for payments. The estimated total damage amounts to a low to medium five -digit euro amount.

The Itzehoe District Court issued a search decision for the joint residential address of the suspects and two transport vehicles were searched at the request of the public prosecutor. The extensive investigation is ongoing, which is why the police currently have no further details about the companies concerned or injured. The police advise carefully checking invoices before the transfer and, if in doubt, contact the invoice stores. Wrong invoices should be reported immediately.
