Drunk drivers ramsting the standing vehicle in Höngeda!

On Friday, April 25, 2025, a spectacular traffic accident occurred on federal road 247 between Höngeda and Bollstedt at 10:15 a.m. A 62-year-old driver crashed into a standing car that had stopped due to a construction site car. Fortunately, no one remained injured while both vehicles were damaged.

The police were informed by two attentive witnesses, who noticed that the driver had previously excelled through her daring driving behavior, including repeated swiveling out of the road. During the accident, it turned out that the woman was heavily alcoholic with a whopping 2.51 per thousand. She was taken to the hospital for blood sampling, her driver's license was secured and the car had to be towed. Criminal proceedings for hazarding road traffic is now underway against the driver.
