Drunk cyclists fall in Fulda: Police are looking for witnesses!
Two cyclists were involved in accidents in Fulda at the weekend in Fulda due to alleged drunkenness. On Saturday evening, a 24-year-old Dutch fell on Rhönstrasse around 9:30 p.m. after he apparently lost control of his bike because of his alcohol. The young man suffered minor injuries and had to be treated in the hospital while a blood sample was carried out, which now exposes him to a process for drunkenness.
In the early Sunday morning, shortly after 0:30 a.m., a 36-year-old Künzeller on Künzeller Straße near the Hotel Bachmühle also fell off the bike. A driver watched the fall and immediately alerted the rescue workers. The slightly injured cyclist also needed outpatient treatment in the hospital, where there was also a blood sample. The police Fulda asks witnesses to the accident to report and contribute information to clarify the incident.
