A spectacular accident occurred in the night from Sunday to Monday at Illerkirchberg! At around 1:15 a.m., a 27-year-old man at the wheel lost control-and that in a risky journey! He raced at an excessive speed and finally overturned the street after an agreement. The car got stuck upside down between two trees and is now totally damaged.

Fortunately, both the driver and his 32-year-old passenger only contracted minor injuries and were taken to the hospital. An alcomat test of the driver revealed a value of almost 1.5 per thousand - no wonder that this shocking accident occurred! His driver's license was then confiscated and he had to hand in a blood sample. The police estimate the property damage at around 25,000 euros.
