Drunk cyclists with over 2.6 per thousand stopped in Constance!

A 52-year-old man caused excitement in Constance on Saturday evening when he was drunk by bike. A concerned passer -by alerted the police after he saw the man who had previously noticed at the train station on his way towards Mettnau. The police were able to stop the cyclist in Obertorstrasse and the result of the alcohol test was shocking: over 2.6 per thousand!

The officials acted immediately and took the man to the hospital to take blood. Now the man has to answer for drunk driving in criminal proceedings. A clear case that shows: alcohol and bike - that doesn't work at all!
