In Constance, an exciting chase occurred in Constance on Wednesday night: a scooter driver fled drunk and without a driver's license before a police check! At 1:40 a.m., officials noticed a scooter on Max-Stromeyer-Straße, occupied by two men. When the police wanted to stop the duo, the driver accelerated and raced over the Lake Constance path towards Reutestrasse.

The attempt to escape ended in Haspelweg, where the scooter driver and his passenger plunged and tried to move away on foot - but the police caught up quickly. During the check, it turned out that the 26-year-old driver was not only heavily alcoholic, but also had no driver's license for the scooter. A breath alcohol test resulted in a value of about 1.5 per thousand, whereupon he was taken from a blood sample in the hospital.
