Armed burglar in Jessenitz: Homeowner defends himself!

On Thursday morning there was a dramatic commitment in Jessenitz near Lübtheen: a homeowner alerted the officers about the emergency call and reported two armed burglars in his home. Numerous patrol cars moved out, but the situation turned out to be less threatening. When they arrived, the police met the homeowner who carried a pistol with him and stated that it was used for self -defense.

A search of the multi -party house brought no positive results: neither unauthorized persons nor suspicious objects were found. The surveys among the neighbors also gave no evidence of a crime. In order to ensure the safety of everyone, the legally registered weapons of the homeowner were temporarily ensured. The police also initiated an investigation on suspicion of trespassing.
