Armed robbery on discounter in Kleve - police are looking for witnesses!

On Monday evening, May 5, 2025, around 10 p.m., a dramatic attack occurred on a discounter on Wiesenstrasse in Kleve. Two unknown perpetrators, who were presumably hidden in the sales room, threatened the employees with knives and demanded cash. After the robbery, the perpetrators fled towards the train station quickly. The exact height of the prey has so far been unclear.

The police published detailed descriptions of the two suspects. The first perpetrator is about 180-183 cm tall, slim and spoke German with an Eastern European accent. He was dressed with a white training jacket, a black hat, a scarf and sunglasses and wore a black sports bag. The second suspect measures about 175 cm, also wears a black jacket and hat and was traveling with a black backpack.
