Park der Jugend, Gera, Deutschland - on May 2, 2025, around 4:30 p.m., the Gera police stripes were called to the Park of Youth after reports entered into a violent discussion. On site it turned out that a 19-year-old man of Tunisian origin presumably injured a 24-year-old Afghan with a knife. The alleged perpetrator was initially arrested, but later released again by order of the public prosecutor.

The investigation showed that another 24-year-old Tunisian was also involved in the incident and the victim attacked physically. This was quickly caught. The injured Afghan was cared for by the emergency services and taken to a hospital. Both suspects now have to answer for dangerous bodily harm. The police started the investigation while the injured man is in medical treatment.
