In a shocking incident in Gelsenkirchen, a 35-year-old Syrian tried to steal cherries at a market stand. When the stand operator asked him to leave the stand, the man pulled a knife and stuck towards the legs of the authorized person. Fortunately, the operator was not hit. The perpetrator then fled to a nearby apartment building.

The alarmed police were able to arrest the man in the hallway of one of the apartments. During the search, the officials discovered fresh blood tea, which they led to an apartment. There, the suspect had previously undertaken violently and injured the apartment owner with an iron bar on the head. The injured party suffered a small head wound and went independently in outpatient treatment.
