Bloody knife attack in Reutlingen: 23-year-old in custody!

On Saturday afternoon, May 17, 2025, there was a violent argument in Schlachthausstraße, in which a 23-year-old man is suspected of having a bad attack with a knife. The Stuttgart public prosecutor and the Esslingen criminal police are now investigating attempted manslaughter. The suspect, a Syrian citizen, is already in custody.

One day after the crime, the man was presented on Sunday, May 18, 2025, in front of the judge at the Nürtingen District Court. At the request of the public prosecutor, an arrest warrant was issued and immediately carried out. The suspect was brought to a correctional facility while the investigation continued.
