Bloody knife attack in Schwerin: Seriously injured on playground!

in Schwerin, on April 20, 2025, a 30-year-old man was victim of a brutal attack on a playground on Perleberger Strasse. Witnesses alerted the police at 8:30 p.m. when they discovered the heavily bleeding man who was injured with knife stabs on the upper and lower leg. Immediate rescue workers moved and brought the victim to a medical treatment clinic.

The Schwerin criminal police have initiated investigations into dangerous bodily harm and is currently asking several witnesses who have observed the incident. Despite an extensive search for close range, in which a police helicopter was also used, the search for the perpetrator has so far been unsuccessful. The investigators do everything they can to clarify the crime and identify a possible suspect.
