Bonn under control: drugs and alcohol in the sights of the police!

Mehlem, Deutschland - The Bonn police mobilized 40 civil servants on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, in order to target drugs and alcohol violations. Numerous vehicles were stopped and checked intensively in the areas of flour and Rheinbach.

Seven drivers got into the investigators' focus because they suspected drug use - all drug rapid tests were positive. Another driver was under the influence of alcohol. In all cases, investigations were initiated and blood samples were taken to take the evidence. A total of 50 traffic offenses were punished, which underlines the determination of the police to ensure security on the streets.
