In the early morning hours of May 4, 2025, there was an scandalous incident in Alfeld: an adolescent and a young adult flammed two trash cans on Bahnhofstrasse and Hannoverschen Straße. The attentive witness, who alerted the police around 5:46 a.m., helped to delete the fire quickly before major damage could occur.

The police found another burning trash can a short time later and was able to arrest the suspects nearby. Fortunately, the contents of the trash can remained intact, and there was no damage to property. Thanks to the watchful witness eyes, worse could be prevented!
