In the early morning hours of May 23, 2025, the police were alerted in Bückeburg: At 00:06 a.m., a caller reported the fire of a motor scooter on the street at the train station. Before the fire brigade arrived, the flames spread quickly and spread to the front door of a neighboring residential container.

The fire brigade was able to intervene quickly and put the fire under control. The property damage to scooters and residential containers is not yet quantified. Fortunately, the apartments in the container are still habitable. The caller suffered slight smoke injuries and was released in the hospital after a short treatment. Due to the nearby fire locations and the circumstances, the investigators assume intentional arson in all cases.
