A dramatic traffic accident shook the Autobahn 8 at Karlsbad on Wednesday evening! At 10:50 p.m., a 21-year-old Mercedes driver lost control of his vehicle when he wanted to drive up on the A8 towards Karlsruhe. At high speed, his car caught and crashed violently against a VW Passat on the left lane!

The Situation was dangerous! A 51-year-old Opel driver recognized the danger and managed to slow down in time. But the 50-year-old Skoda driver behind her reacted too late and crashed into the VW. The result: a temporary full closure of the highway, while the police carried out the accident recording and evacuation work. Fortunately, no injuries are known, but the property damage remains uncertain at the moment.
