Chemical disaster in Remscheid: Fire brigade saves the location!

In a cleaning company in Remscheid, there was a dangerous chemical incident when at least two different products were merged in a disposal container. The exothermic reaction caused smoke development and a biting, chlorine -containing smell.

Fortunately, the building was already cleared when the fire brigade arrived. Using respiratory protection and light protective suits, the fire brigade pulled the loaded container out of the building and cooled it carefully to defuse the situation.
