In the night from Saturday to Sunday, exactly at 1:45 a.m., a devastating fire broke out in the Vennebeck district in the roof structure of an apartment building. The Minden-Lübbecke fire department was immediately alerted, but when the first emergency services arrived, the roof structure was already on fire. The fire brigade fought tirelessly against the inferno for over two hours and was finally able to extinguish the fire. Fortunately, there were no injuries.

The property damage is estimated at several hundred thousand euros, the fire site was confiscated by the authorities. Now the investigation into the cause of the fateful fire.
