At the weekend, a wave of thefts and theft attempts in Olpe kept in suspense. In the night of Friday, April 11th, the perpetrators were active in the towns of Thieringhausen and Elbe. In Elbe a Toyota Aygo was searched on the street "Zum Elberscheid", but the thieves let go back without prey.

In the night from Friday to Saturday, the “Martinstrasse” in Olpe was the target of strangers. Here they hit the side windows of two cars. While only the vehicle license was stolen in one case, the perpetrators captured a wallet in the other case. A kia in the "Manfred-Schöne-Straße" was apparently also searched, but without success. The police are reminiscent of the importance of always parking vehicles closed in order to deter potential perpetrators.
