Drama on the B51: Current accident with injuries causes traffic jam!

On Wednesday, March 19, 2025, a serious traffic accident on the B 51 occurred at around 3:30 p.m., directly at the Rochus Hospital. A 54-year-old driver from Münster opened at a red traffic light on the standing vehicle of a 48-year-old man from Telgte. The impact was violent: the telgor car was pushed over the road and crashed into the guardrail.

The 48-year-old and his eight-year-old son suffered minor injuries in the collision and had to be taken to the hospital. The driver from Münster also came to the hospital for an examination, but apparently remained unharmed. The B 51 was closed for about 30 minutes, while the police recorded the accident and had the badly damaged vehicles mounted. The property damage is estimated at around 12,000 euros.
