Three arrests in Furth: border controls reveal offenders!
In Furth in the forest, federal police officers arrested three criminals sought on Thursday, which were checked as part of the inland border controls introduced. At 2:30 p.m., a 74-year-old Czech was caught on a train from Prague. He was sought for an insult by an arrest warrant, and when he was searched for his luggage, the officials found a forbidden jumping knife. Since the man could not pay a fine of over 3,000 euros, he was brought to the Amberg correctional facility.
Later in the evening, around midnight, the search forces stopped a 43-year-old Czech at the Furth border crossing in the forest, who unreigned in the taxi without the necessary border crossing documents. A comparison of the personal details showed that there was also an arrest warrant against him - he was sought for driving without a license. He, too, was unable to pay the requested fine of over 800 euros and was brought to the Weiden correctional facility.
