Three injured in spectacular traffic accident on Saarlandstrasse!

On Friday morning, May 16, 2025, a serious traffic accident occurred in Saarlandstrasse at 9:20 a.m., in which three cars were involved. The 81-year-old driver of the front vehicle wanted to park on the edge of the road, which forced the 69-year-old driver behind him. However, the 48-year-old driver of the third vehicle noticed this too late and first hit the vehicle of the 69-year-old and then on that of the 81-year-old.

The accident slightly injured three people and had to be brought to nearby hospitals as a precaution. The property damage amounts to around 25,000 euros, although the cars of the 69- and 48-year-olds were no longer ready to drive and had to be towed. Criminal proceedings for negligent bodily harm were initiated against the 48-year-old.
