Brazen car crashes at cemeteries: Police are looking for witnesses!

Wega, Deutschland - A brazen thief broke three cars at cemeteries in Wega, Geismar and Allendorf on Saturday! Between 11:45 and 2:10 p.m. he managed to take the side windows of the vehicles and steal valuables. The first act occurred in Wega when a driver only briefly cared for flowers on a grave. She heard a bang and caught the fleeing perpetrator, who had lost his prey - a load -bearing bag - on the way. Shortly afterwards, between 1:45 p.m. and 2:10 p.m., the thief in Allendorf was targeting a wallet.

The police are now looking for witnesses and warns owner of further car breakouts. Important tips for avoiding such incidents have been published: do not leave any valuables in the car, always take ID cards and papers with them and park in illuminated, visible areas if possible. All three actions took place near the B 253, which indicates a possible connection. The Frankenberg police station will receive information on the perpetrator at 06451-72030 or the Bad Wildungen police station at 05621/70900.
