Brazen shoplifter with 1,200 euros loot: arrest in the main train station!

A 52-year-old man from Sri Lanka was arrested on Sunday evening in Cologne Central Station after trying to steal in the supermarket worth almost 1,200 euros. Around 9:30 p.m., the man entered the shop and stole a roll container in a brazen coup, which he filled with food and other articles in the following one and a half hours as you like. Two beer bottles and 13 kilograms of baked goods finally found themselves on his car.

While he moved unobtrusively through the shop, he even collected receipts from the trash to legitimize the stolen goods. Only shortly after leaving the business, he was provided by the shop detective and the federal police alerted. The man is now on trial and has to answer for his behavior.
