On Friday, May 2, 2025, the police in Neuwied temporarily arrested a 28-year-old after his apartment was searched due to a violation of the Narcotics Act. During the search, the officials found extensive evidence that are now part of the upcoming criminal proceedings.

The same evening occurred in the Neuwieder Downtown several incidents with a 38-year-old man who noticed insults and assault. His aggressive behavior, including throwing objects on people and vehicles, led to his detention. He also threatens several criminal proceedings.

On Saturday afternoon, the police were also called due to a 67-year-old drunk man who rioted in a kiosk, insulted the employees and harassed the customers. Despite multiple references, he did not react and was ultimately taken into custody. He now has to answer for insulting and trespassing.
