Drug controls in Speyer: Two drivers with THC at the wheel caught!

On Thursday, April 10, 2025, the Speyer police opened a double drug problem! In a targeted traffic control, two 27-year-old car drivers were stopped who were under the influence of THC at the wheel. The first driver, in a gray Mercedes-Benz, was stopped at 3:45 p.m. in Geibstraße. Typical drugs typical of the drug was already in the check. A urine test brought it to light: positive for THC!

Just two hours later, around 5:40 p.m., the second driver noticed in the “Alte Ziegelei” street - here too there was a clear violation. The man confessed to the consumption of cannabis, and as with the first driver, the urine test also showed a positive result on THC. Both traffic offenders now have to expect consequences: they were prohibited from continuing, taking a blood sample and initiating an administrative offense procedure.
