Duo arrested in Butjadingen after a break -in - police grabs thieves!

In a dramatic incident in Butjadingen, two men aged 20 and 47 were arrested on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 after they had broken into a family home. With brutal violence, they rammed the front door with a car and thus came into the property on the Oegenser Weg. In search of valuables, they stole jewelry, while the entire burglary was recorded by security cameras that transferred directly to the non -present house residents.

The police were immediately alerted, and the two perpetrators suffered minor injuries while fleeing and were cooled by crossing water -bearing trenches. They were initially brought to hospitals and then taken into police custody. On Thursday, April 10, 2025, the two suspects were shown to a judge who issued arrest warrants at the request of the Oldenburg public prosecutor. The hunt for the criminals ended successfully - another case of burglary crime in the region!
