E-bike theft in Freiburg: Police are looking for witnesses for quick education!

On May 17, 2025, a wine-red e-bike that was secured with a castle was stolen around 2:10 p.m. in Scheffelstrasse, near the confluence with the Talstrasse. But luck did not last for the thief: On the same day, the bike could be secured by the police thanks to a hint of the owner.

The officials arrested a 49-year-old suspect associated with the theft. The Freiburg-Nord police department is now looking for other witnesses who have observed the incident or suspicious persons. Information can be reported on 0761 882-4221.
