On Easter Sunday, the police in Rhodt under Rietburg caught a 23-year-old during a traffic control. The young man had no valid insurance cover for his e-scooter-a clear violation of the compulsory insurance law! Criminal proceedings against him were immediately initiated.

The Edenkoben police warn for caution: A valid insurance cover is essential for driving e-scooters in public road traffic. A driver's license is not necessary as long as the scooter does not drive faster than 20 km/h. Free the driver's license from 14 - but without insurance, the law applies!
