A 14-year-old boy made a remarkable find on Monday evening (May 12, 2025) on Oermter Berg: While he went for a walk with friends, he came across a bundle of banknotes worth a medium three-digit amount. Although he was not able to identify a owner, the young finder showed remarkable honesty and immediately reported his find to the police.

The officials were able to secure the money and handed it over to the responsible property office of the municipality of Issum. Interested owners now have the opportunity to report. A big praise for the honest finder!
