Burglars caught trying: burglary on August-Bebel-Platz!

On Sunday afternoon there was an attempted slump into the basement of an apartment building on August-Bebel-Platz. An unknown perpetrator tried to open the basement lock, but his criminal ambitions failed when he met the 51-year-old son of the basement owner who was about to turn off his bike. The latter noticed the unknown person, which caused the burglar to escape.

The police report on property damage of around 100 euros. Despite the failed attempt, the question remains unanswered who is behind this theft attempt and whether there have been further incidents in the area. The investigation is running.
